A Message from Danielle DeLorenzo

Dear Lynwood Community,

 

On behalf of the Lynwood Avenue Elementary learning community, I would like to welcome you to our website.  Lynwood is one of the twelve elementary schools within the Sachem School District located in Farmingville, New York. 

 

I am proud to be your principal and share in another year of learning and fun in a school where teachers are devoted, instructional leaders who promote the social and emotional growth of students, as well as student achievement.  Our students are at the heart of all that we do.  Faculty and staff are devoted to creating a safe and supportive environment where students can learn, succeed, and are encouraged to take risks.  Our motto is “Lynwood ROCKS”, which stands for: Lynwood Respects Our Community, Kids and School. 

 

Our learning community is committed to providing challenging and rich educational experiences that ensure success. With high expectations and standards for quality for all students, we strive to create a student-centered learning environment, where learning is an active, continuous, dynamic process.
