Our mission is to ensure that students have the skills and opportunity to access, evaluate, and use information whether in print or digital format. By aligning with the standards listed below, our goal as library media specialists’ is to connect learners with ideas and information in an open, friendly, welcoming environment. We prepare students for life-long learning, informed decision making, a love of reading and the use of informational technologies. In addition, we provide faculty, staff and students with the most current research information available.

American Association of School Librarians-Standards for the 21 st Century Learner
Learners use skills, resources and tools to:
1. Inquire, think critically, and gain knowledge
2. Draw conclusions, make informed decisions, apply knowledge to new situations, and
create new knowledge.
3. Share knowledge and participate ethically and productively as members of our democratic society
4. Pursue personal and aesthetic growth.

Our library is open on school days from 7:20 am to 2:30 pm. A library media specialist is available to assist you with your thirst for information and/or knowledge.
