PARP is a statewide reading program geared towards encouraging children to read at home with their parents, guardians, grandparents, or siblings. PARP is a motivating and exciting experience for students to share with their families! Inspired by the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the theme for PARP this February was Read for the Gold! PARP began on Monday, February 1st and continued through Friday, February 12th, 2010. Students were asked to record their reading each night with an adult. The minimum requirement were for Primary Grades (K-2) of 15 minutes per night and Intermediate Grades (3-5) of 30 minutes per night. Thanks to everyone who participated and enjoyed their reading time together. Bookmark this page for next year’s exciting PARP theme!
