Text Box: What is 50,000 Minutes? Each night your child will record the title of their book and the amount of minutes read. A parent will initial that day and at the end of the month add up all the minutes read. The calendar will return to class and the results will be graphed on a classroom chart. Super readers will be chosen at the end of each month and they will have an opportunity to spin the WHEEL OF REWARDS! This is a wonderful chance to explore reading with your child and celebrate their accomplishments. Please be sure to keep tract of your child’s reading nightly and keep the calendar somewhere safe!
