Uniform Info

Sachem School District Food Service Contacts

1. Uniforms must be CLEAN.
2. Uniforms must be SOLID WHITE.
3. Uniforms must be APPROPRIATE:

a. MUST have a collar or appropriate Uniform Neckline.
b. Short or 3/4 sleeves.
c. Fleece, Sweat Suits, Jeans, Leggings or Tights are NOT deemed appropriate.
d. Shoes must be WHITE. closed and have non-skid sole.

4. Uniform APRONS must be worn at all times:

a. Aprons must be uniform as determined by the Food Service Director.
b. Aprons will be purchased each year from the Food Service Office. The purchase amount will be assessed to each person prior to awarding Uniform Allowance. Additional aprons may be purchased at any time from the Food Service Office.

5. HAIR RESTRAINTS must be worn at all times:

a. HAIR NETS must be worn at ALL times.

REMINDER:

6. Paid Receipts are required for all Uniform purchases. Uniforms must be purchased after May 1st and receipts returned to the Food Service Office BEFORE August 15th for Opening Day Payment. All Receipts are due no later than September 15th.
7. Failure to be in proper Uniform may result in the employee being denied work on that day.
