S.T.E.P.
Sachem Transitional Elementary Program for Children with Autism
We, the community of Sachem Central School District, are dedicated to the academic, social and emotional growth of all children. Our goal and responsibility is to assist each child as a learner and a member of the community in the least restrictive environment.

This program provides a combination of individual skills and curriculum integration at the child’s developmental level in order to facilitate the learning of academic, social and communication skills.
